PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Alan Villemaire

In addition to his outstanding high end estate, ranch and residential work, Alan has designed and managed a broad range of projects including many commercial and public sites, wineries and schools. He brings his wealth of knowledge to each project allowing him to envision creative solutions and foresee potential issues earlier than others might.

A well established Landscape Architect, Alan also has significant experience working in civil engineering, surveying and ecology restoration firms. He also has experience working as a landscape construction foreman and is a CA state certified QSD (qualified stormwater designer).

While Alan has created designs for the rich and the famous (and designed the landscape for the highest selling residence in Sonoma County for 2018), he also enjoys working on smaller single family residences, fire rebuilds and pro bono low income housing projects.

A former gourmet chef, Alan is also a longtime beekeeper, swimmer, cyclist and has gardened since childhood. He has embraced permaculture, eco friendly and edible landscape design for over 30 years.
